Ok Does anyone know what the RPM ratings are for different vac pumps?
Like I have a Surge SP22 it has a 1725 RPM motor with a 3.5" pulley and a 14" pulley on the pump head so the final RPM is 431.
My Surge Alamo has a 1725 RPM motor with a 4.75" pulley with a 10" pump head pulley so that makes a final RPM of 862.
I know Piston pumps are to run at a lower rpm but what is a good rpm for a vane pump?
My Delaval 73 vane says on the name plate that with a 1HP motor to run it at 1000RPM, 3/4HP at I think 860RPM, 1/2HP somewhere around 600 I beleive. I will have to verify these.
So what are good RPM range for Vane Pumps and Piston Pumps?
Even if it isn't a pump I mentioned post any info here about RPM ratings for Vac pumps.
